Climate – outputs from the SRIP session on 1st November 2023
This session was curated by Highlands & Islands Climate Hubs and The Cimate Café Network, SRUC and SRA.
At this session, a short film was shown about the myriad of social enterprises across the Highlands and Islands working on climate initiatives.
Participants were invited to take part in a Climate Café ® to share their ideas and action in their own communities to tackle the climate crisis.
Several cross-cutting themes emerged from the conversations.
The Scottish Parliament Net Zero, Energy & Transport Committee will be launching an enquiry into ‘public engagement in the climate crisis’ which was the focus of the Climate session. We anticipate that Climate curators will be invited to provide evidence.
